As Al Asad Base Command Land Manager, PO Lawrence managed 24 Base Command Group contractors governing assets and services worth over $5 Million. She tracked and managed all base rights and privileges while maintaining current documentation on all extensions and agreements with Base Command Group assuring a continued working relationship and support for all personnel. Petty officer Lawrence oversaw the demobilization of 6 major base contractors and their facilities resulting in a significant reduction in the overall contractor footprint on Al Asad Air Base and the material and resources required to support them.
Petty Officer Casey inventoried 100% of the Navy Munitions Command Detachment Bahrain's 300 minor property assets, valued at more than $250,000, and recovered over $50,000 in lost or mislabeled material and supplies. In addition, he coordinated and implemented an Organizational Clothing line of accounting for the detachment which reduced personnel uniform replacement costs and solved a long-standing funding issue. His expertise and enthusiasm have been a true asset to the command.
Logistics Support
As logistic specialist 2nd class, Petty officer Jones is responsible for ordering, receiving inventoring, storing and issuing over 10,000 parts valued at 2.5 million dollars.
-An OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT MANAGER: her exceptional initiative and logistic knowledge ensure the processing, tracking and completion of 10,000 consumable and repairable requisitions costing 2.5 million dollars in support of 5th and 6th fleet operations.
-TIRELESS AND LOYALLY DEVOTED: her hard work contributed greatly to monitoring her command consumable stockroom and maintain allowance quantity to meet requirement with 100% accuracy and accountability. Logistic Support (LS)
As Security Department's Contracting and Purchasing Agent, she was directly responsible for providing supply support and logistics to 120 Security personnel and maintaining an annual departmental budget of 200k.
-Superior Work Ethic. As the Government Purchase Card holder, he made over 50 commercial purchases valued over $100K which contributed to the overall material readiness of the department. As Primary Payroll manager, he skillfully managed over $477K in Labor Funds for 17 civilian personnel leading to a 100 percent accountability turn around in civilian pay each month.
-Expertly managed, tracked and funded over 440 purchases utilizing the Government Purchase Card valued over $400K which greatly enhanced the overall mission readiness of forward deployed units.
-As Warehouse LPO his aggressiveness, hard work and dedication to duty ensured that over 5,000 mission essential items weighing over 1.5 Tons for four subordinate commands were properly shipped and tracked flawlessly with zero discrepancies.
-Volunteer and mentor at College Park Elementary School, mentoring over 20 children grades 3rd through 5th and 80% of the children have showed a great improvement in behavior as well as grades with 8 of them making the honor roll.
-As the only LS in the first ever RA headed up by NSWG4, he purchased and managed over $12k to stand up and sustain a base camp that coordinated with two other SWCC and SEAL commands at the same time to complete a mission, because of his efforts and attention to detail the training was a success.
